since i have been staring at the cover at my french workbook for the past half an hour while convincing myself that ten more minutes of anything else wouldn't make much of a difference, i shall blog...
today, alethea, charmaine, cheryl, yunteng(suyun's old school friend) and i went to serene center to have macdonalds. yeapyeaps. cheryl got an overpriced chocolate muffin... and then later decided to get a macnugget student meal... which was what i was having... with curry sauce... exactly what i was having... while cheryl was queing for her meal, we couldn't open alethea's chilli sauce... so i happily grabbed cheryl's fork (from her muffin) and started jabbing the packet with much enthusiasm... suddenly, there were two red dots that were progressively getting bigger so i stopped and handed it to alethea... who was laughing... and she tried it on the other packet of chilli... only... she was a bit too enthusiastic so the fork flew in a perfect arch and landed under the table next to us. :D alethea started doing her french homework after awhile... and charmaine was saying quote "next time you(doobie) and alethea will be jabbering away in french and jacjac and i, feeling left out, will start speaking in german and cheryl will have no foreign language to speak in... except for chinese cos her chinese is so good none of us would understand if she started mumbling to herself" unquote *they might not actually be her actual words... but i got the gist of it.*
at the bus stop, cheryl sat on the bench and stared at me... after awhile, she intoned, "i want to be featured on your blog." i was kinda surprised cos she doesn't really read my blog ( i would like the interrupt and start talking about how cheryl has a very expressive face. she can contort her face as well as a contortionist can contorts their body... it is so expressive and... expressive... ) ... after she left, the stupid 156 wouldn't come... after 10 minutes, we, excluding cheryl, who has abandoned us and quit japanese, decided to take a taxi to moelc cos we were practically late for class...we had several interesting topics pop up in our conversation in the taxi... and the taxi uncle was very nice. cos the fare was 8.20 and i gave him a ten dollar note... so he gave me two dollars change and chased me off...
in class, we got dictee and the board was filled with weird answers with random lines at random places in the sentences that made no sense...:D but it was fun... at the end of the lesson, madame desilva was talking about needing a treasurer to collect money for her to photocopy worksheets while i was proudly swaying my lollipop from side to side, trying to make wanran jealous and anxious to start eating it. when she asked for volunteers and no one raised their hands, amidst the boy's nominations of their friends, she said, after giving me a look that i knew bode no well cos it had that hint of amusement and tinge of teacherish evil, "Deborah has volunteered with her lollipop." Nadia and wanran, being the great friends that they are, promptly started laughing crazily. and they didn't stop... so i have to collect money from everyone. but nevermind. as charlene would say, YAY! I GET TO PLAY WITH MONEY! :D
my workbook is now giving me a very teacherish stern look... i wonder where it learnt it from... i think i better go do it...
